I need information about...
Bill Keaton serves as chief executive officer of the 68-bed Baylor Medical Center at Frisco located in one of the fastest growing areas of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Under his leadership, Baylor Frisco underwent a $65 million expansion in 2007 doubling its size to accommodate the exponential growth of Collin County.
The cornerstone of the expansion was the brand new Women's Center with a $20 million labor and delivery unit—a service line not previously offered by the hospital. The new Women's Center is designed with the look and feel of a hotel and features an advanced infant security system and special amenities for new families.
Keaton was appointed as chief executive officer (CEO) of Baylor Frisco in 2001. Previously, he served as the Chief Operating Officer of River Region HealthCare System in Vicksburg, MS and prior to that as CEO of Columbia Panhandle Surgical Hospital in Amarillo, TX.
Opened in 2002 as Frisco Medical Center, Baylor Frisco joined the Baylor Health Care System in 2006. With more than 300 physicians and over 400 employees on staff, Baylor Frisco has been recognized as one of the "60 Best Places to Work in Texas" by Texas Monthly magazine. In addition, the hospital was named one of the Fastest Growing Businesses in the Dallas Metroplex by the SMU Cox School of Business and one of the largest hospitals in Collin County by Inside Collin County Business.
Keaton currently serves as a board member for Frisco Family Services and Care View Communications. He has been actively involved with the Frisco Industrial Council, and the Sherman Chamber of Commerce. He is an alumnus of West Texas A&M University where he received his bachelors and masters degrees.
