Baylor Regional Medical Center at Plano

Baylor Health Care System East Region

Jerri Garison is president of Baylor Regional Medical Center at Plano and division executive for the east region of Baylor Health Care System. Baylor Plano is a 160-bed medical facility providing advanced medical services in nearly 35 specialties to Collin County.

In her role, Garison leads Baylor Regional Medical Center at Plano while also coordinating four additional hospitals—Baylor Medical Center at Carrollton, Baylor Medical Center at Garland, Baylor Medical Center at McKinney and THE HEART HOSPITAL Baylor Plano. She also coordinates orthopedic service lines for the system in addition to the development and linkage with HealthTexas Provider Network, Texas Health Ventures Group and Select Medical. She is responsible for collaboration among the respective business entities within her geographic region and assists with facility growth and development, standardizing services, developing strategic initiatives, physician growth and development, stewardship and quality improvement.

Garison has been president of Baylor Plano since January 2006 and became division executive for the east region in December 2011. Before assuming her roles at Baylor Plano, she served at Baylor Medical Center at Waxahachie as interim president and then as president beginning in September 2004. She came to Waxahachie from Baylor Medical Center at Irving where she served as chief operating officer for four years.

Garison received a Bachelor of Science in nursing and a Master in Health Administration from the Medical College of Virginia. She serves on many boards in the community including North Dallas Chamber of Commerce, Regional Policy Board for the American Hospital Association, Collin College Foundation and the Russell Creek YMCA. She is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives, a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association, Leadership Plano Class 27, as well as several other professional organizations.

Jerri has four grown children and three grandchildren.
