Leadership

A Cornerstone of a Nationally Recognized System

Behind the strong reputation of Baylor Health Care System (BHCS) and its longstanding commitment to the community are caring leaders. The leaders of Baylor Health Care System are dedicated to furthering the system’s vision to be trusted as the best place to give and receive safe, quality, compassionate care through the seven pathways of Vision 2015. Together, executive leadership and the BHCS Board of Trustees (comprised of community leaders who volunteer their time) contribute their wisdom, insights and expertise to guide the system in providing safe, quality, compassionate care to the community.

Gary D. Brock, president and chief operating officer of BHCS, works closely with board members including Mr. Frank C. Wilson, chair of BHCS Board of Trustees. By creating a quality patient experience throughout the system, Baylor’s leadership demonstrates a powerful commitment to serving the communities in which we all live and work with integrity, servanthood, quality, innovation and stewardship.

Now combined with Scott & White Healthcare based in Temple, Texas, BHCS is the North Texas division of Baylor Scott & White Health. For an industry undergoing fundamental changes, Baylor Scott & White Health provides a new vision and more resources, offering patients continued quality care through the strengths of two nationally recognized health systems. At the helm of these efforts is a team of passionate experts responsible for setting strategy and charting the course for the new organization.
