Our Children's House
Our Children’s House at Baylor provides a special environment for pediatric nurses. This innovative hospital comforts and supports children recovering from disease or illness who have special needs as they prepare to return home from a conventional medical facility. Our nurses are part of a multidisciplinary team that provides treatment for traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, respiratory illnesses and minor surgical procedures. Our Children’s House also offers one of only eight pediatric feeding programs in the nation.

Flexible Schedules
Baylor has been offering flexible schedules for more than 20 years. We invented the Baylor Plan, which provides full-time benefits and a generous shift differential for working 24 hours during the weekend. Full-time nurses may also work three 12-hour, four 10-hour or five 8-hour shifts.
PRNs can also work the schedule that best suits their needs. If you work at least eight hours per month, you can participate in continuing education classes and contribute to our generous 401(k) plan.
