As a women’s health nurse at Baylor, you’ll help provide cutting-edge care for women in all stages of life. While you devote your skills and experience to caring for women of all generations, we care for you by supporting your personal and professional goals.

More than 14,000 babies were born in Baylor hospitals in 2007. The exemplary care our nurses give patients was recognized in 2007 as readers of Dallas Child magazine voted Baylor University Medical Center the best place to have a baby in Dallas.

Our hospitals include Andrews Women’s Hospital in Fort Worth, which opened in March 2008. The 190,000-square-foot facility offers comprehensive specialty services and a total care approach for women of all ages. The hospital features hotel-like amenities including a spa, in-room massages, room service and accommodations for patients’ families. It was designed with nurse and physician input every step of the way.

Shared Leadership

Baylor’s nurses are empowered to make decisions that improve patient care. We are committed to a shared leadership model that encourages all staff nurses to be actively involved in setting the clinical policies and procedures for their unit.

PRNs can also work the schedule that best suits their needs. If you work at least eight hours per month, you can participate in continuing education classes and contribute to our generous 401(k) plan.
