• Unit Highlights: An extremely experienced staff with experience in multiple surgical specialties.

Baylor All Saints Medical Center at Fort Worth – Andrews Women's Hospital:

• Number of ORs:  8 OR suites
• Surgical Specialties: C-sections, cervical cerclage, D&C, gyn-laparoscopy, urology, uro-gyn, gyn-oncology and some simple breast cases
• Unit Highlights: New facility. Currently the highest on-time start rates in the system. Fast turnover times.

Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas (Truett):

• Surgical Specialties: Neurology, orthopaedics, orthopaedic trauma, plastics, ophthalmology, gynecology, pediatrics, oral maxillofacial

Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas (Roberts):

• Surgical Specialties: General, colo-rectal, genitourinary, peripheral vascular, otolaryngology, cardiovascular, trauma (Level I), thoracic, and transplant
• Unit Highlights: Magnet organization. We have a highly regarded team environment with years of experience and a vast array of exciting procedures.

Baylor Heart and Vascular Hospital at Dallas:

• Number of ORs:  4 OR suites
• Surgical Specialties:  A full range of vascular surgery services, including: aneurysm repair, aortic and thoracic endografts, first rib resection, carotid stenting, carotid endarterectomy, lower extremity bypass surgery and stenting, thrombolysis, upper extremity bypass surgery and stenting, AV loop, balloon angioplasty and stent placement, and amputation
• Unit Highlights:  Magnet organization. Provides a great environment for nurses to become expert in vascular surgery.

THE HEART HOSPITAL Baylor Plano:

• Number of ORs:  6 OR suites
• Surgical Specialties:  Cardiovascular, vascular, thoracic and endovascular
• Unit Highlights: We do a lot of specialty procedures. We do a lot of research, have the latest technology. New hospital. Great staff.

 Baylor Regional Medical Center at Grapevine:

• Number of ORs:  11
• Surgical Specialties: Robotics, bariatrics, general surgery, ENT, plastics, podiatry, orthopaedics, gynecology, ophthalmology, urology, cardiovascular, vascular and thoracic
• Unit Highlights: Tenured staff; 6 OR nurse specialists for each service line; located in a family-oriented community.

 Baylor Medical Center at Garland:

• Number of ORs:  9 OR suites
• Surgical Specialties:  General surgery, colo-rectal, gynecology, urology, peripheral vascular, cardiovascular, thoracic, orthopaedic, neurology, plastics, podiatric and a limited number of ENT

Baylor Medical Center at Irving:

• Surgical Specialties: All specialties including cardiovascular, colo-rectal, ENT, general, urology, gyn, neuro, orthopaedics, plastics, and thoracic. High volume of general surgery – most done laparoscopically, including bariatric. High volume of total joint procedures, including minimally invasive knee replacements.

Baylor Regional Medical Center at Plano:

Baylor Medical Center at Waxahachie:

• Number of ORs:  4 OR suites and 1 GI Lab
• Surgical Specialties:  General surgery; bariatrics including lap bands, Roux-en-y and gastric sleeves; orthopaedics including computer-assisted total knee replacements; gynecological including laparoscopic-assisted supracervical hysterectomy; urological; ENT; ortho spine; plastic surgery; pulmonology; gastroenterology
• Unit Highlights: A progressive community hospital with great teamwork and a family atmosphere.

Baylor Medical Center at Southwest Fort Worth:

• Number of ORs:  4 OR suites and 2 GI Labs
• Surgical Specialties:  Bariatircs, general surgery, orthopaedics, gynecology, podiatry, urology, pain management and colo-rectal
• Unit Highlights: We perform bariatric surgeries and are developing a bariatrics program. We are a close team that prides ourselves in a family atmosphere.

Baylor Medical Center at Carrollton:

• Surgical Specialties:  Bariatrics, general, EENT, gynecology, orthopaedics, thoracic, vascular, neuro, IVF, pain management, urology, podiatry, plastic, maxillofacial and some organ retrievals
• Unit Highlights: The staff works well together and is engaged in department improvement and initiatives. Good relationships and teamwork exist between all departments of Surgical Services.
