Our Children's House

Our Children's House at Baylor provides a special environment for pediatric nurses. This innovative hospital comforts and supports children recovering from disease or illness who have special needs as they prepare to return home from a conventional medical facility. Our nurses are part of a multidisciplinary team that provides treatment for traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, respiratory illnesses and minor surgical procedures. Our Children's House also offers one of only eight pediatric feeding programs in the nation.

Shared Leadership

At Baylor, nurses are empowered to make decisions that improve patient care. We are committed to a shared leadership model that encourages all staff nurses to be actively involved in setting the clinical policies and procedures for their unit.
