Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas (BUMC)
- 1,002 beds; Baylor’s largest hospital
- Level I trauma center, as well as a major patient care, teaching and research facility.
- Earned the Magnet Award for Excellence in Nursing Services by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
- U.S. News & World Report’s annual “America’s Best Hospitals” guide has ranked BUMC among the nation’s top hospitals in several medical specialties every year since 1992.
- Nursing Professionals ranked BUMC in the magazine's list of the 100 best hospitals to work for in the United States in 2009. This list was voted on by nurses.
- For the 13th consecutive year, BUMC has earned the Consumer Choice Award for the Dallas region, awarded by the National Research Corporation (NRC). This award is given to the hospitals that consumers have chosen as having the highest quality and image in 250 markets throughout the U.S.
- The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations designated BUMC a Primary Stroke Center and granted the facility a Gold Seal of Approval™ for its Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) program.
Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation (BIR)
- 95 beds
- Offers intense, highly specialized rehabilitation services for traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, strokes and other orthopaedic and neurologic disorders
- U.S. News & World has named BIR among the nation’s top rehabilitation hospitals every year since 1996.
- One of 14 hospitals nationally to receive Traumatic Brain Injury Model System designation.
Baylor Jack and Jane Hamilton Heart and Vascular Hospital (BHVH)
- 64 beds, four operating suites, seven cath labs, four EP labs and a Community Resource Center
- First dedicated hospital in North Texas dedicated solely to care and treatment of heart and vascular conditions
- Received the Magnet Award for Excellence in Nursing Services from the American Nurses Credentialing Center in July 2007.
- Awarded accreditation for computed tomography (CT) as the result of a recent survey by the American College of Radiology (ACR). The accreditation is given to facilities for the achievement of high practice standards after a peer-review evaluation of the practice.

Baylor Regional Medical Center at Plano 
- 130 beds; beautiful campus with hotel-like amenities and all private rooms
- Earned the Pathway to Excellence award from the American Nurses Credentialing Center, which recognizes the hospital's practices, policies and procedures that allow nurses to practice safe, quality patient care and pursue a higher level of professional development and career satisfaction.
- First hospital in north Dallas and Collin County to offer minimally invasive robotic surgery through the FDA approved da Vinci Surgical System.
- Baylor Scoliosis Center treats advanced spine deformities nationwide
- Dedicated Oncology Unit opened in June 2007
Baylor All Saints Medical Center at Fort Worth
- 550 beds
- Transplant program offers liver, kidney and pancreas transplants and is on the leading edge of islet cell transplantation. Transplantation team performed its 550th transplant in December 2007. Baylor All Saints is the only hospital in Tarrant County to perform liver and pancreas transplants.
- The new four-story Paul and Judy Andrews Women’s Hospital opened in March 2008 to serve women’s health needs in the Tarrant County area. Encompassing nearly 190,000 square feet, the facility offers traditional maternity services, including Fort Worth’s largest Level III neonatal ICU and a wide range of specialty services.
Baylor Medical Center at Garland
- 270 beds; a small-town atmosphere in a large community
- Offers a wide range of advanced medical care, including a Level III neonatal ICU and the third busiest Emergency Department in the Dallas-Fort Worth area – nearly 65,000 visits a year. Emergency Department expansion is planned.
- Recently opened an Outpatient Imaging Center with digital mammography and breast MRI
- Recent expansion added 50 patient beds, the Hartman Chapel, community resource center and a larger intensive care unit waiting area to make family members comfortable and enlarged the Heart and Vascular Center and admissions and registration department.
Baylor Medical Center at Irving
- 300 beds; patient-centered, friendly, family-like atmosphere
- Received the 2009 VHA Leadership Award for Clinical Excellence for the hospital's national performance standards for clinical care. Baylor Irving was one of only two medical centers in Texas to receive this recognition.
- Featuring advanced equipment including 64-slice CT and digital mammography and was the first hospital in the Metroplex to have Stereotaxis cardiology equipment
- Recent $8 million renovation and remodel improved the flow and provides better patient experience
- Offers the full spectrum of advanced oncology services, as well as physical medicine and rehab, orthopaedics (minimally invasive total joint replacement), weight management and sleep centers.
Baylor Medical Center at Waxahachie
- 70 beds; small community hospital with the sophistication of services that Baylor is known for
- Serving a large market area, the Emergency Department is one of Baylor’s busiest, with 40,000 visits a year
- Full-service Imaging Center opened in Red Oak in 2006
- Sleep Center opened on the hospital campus in 2008
Baylor Regional Medical Center at Grapevine 
- 230 beds; full service hospital serving 10 counties
- Earned the Pathway to Excellence award from the American Nurses Credentialing Center, which recognizes the hospital's practices, policies and procedures that allow nurses to practice safe, quality patient care and pursue a higher level of professional development and career satisfaction.
- Selected as a recipient of the 2009 Texas Award for Performance Excellence (TAPE) which is awarded by The Quality Texas Foundation.
- Received full Chest Pain Center Accreditation with PCI (percutaneous coronary intervention) from the Society of Chest Pain Centers (SCPC) in 2008
- Performed 500th open heart surgery in 2007
- Women’s Services delivered more than 3,500 babies and includes a Level III neonatal ICU
- Emergency Department expansion in 2007 doubled its size to 23,000 square feet and added seven beds
- Addition of 40 medical/surgical beds by the end of 2009 will include dedicated oncology beds
Baylor Medical Center at Southwest Fort Worth
- About 80 beds
- Advanced Weight Loss Program started in 2005. Since then, more than 250 weight loss surgeries have been performed. The Weight Management and Surgery team provides support before, during and after surgery.
- New 13,325 square foot Ambulatory Surgery Center opened on campus in 2007
- Emergency Department expansion planned
Baylor Specialty Hospital
- 90 beds in three locations – Dallas, Irving and Garland
- Family-oriented work environment
- Long-term acute care facility allows staff to build relationship with patients and their families
- Awarded Quality Texas Award for operational excellence
Our Children’s House at Baylor
- 55 beds; only pediatric specialty hospital in the Southwest and only pediatric site in the Baylor Health Care System
- Care provided includes teaching and transition to home of patients from the NICU and other medical facilities; specialties are tracheostomy and ventilator training, therapy and rehabilitation for traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury patients and feeding program
- Day programs for feeding and traumatic brain injury patients as well as outpatient therapy at eight outpatient therapy facilities.
- Prides itself on being a family-friendly facility, making patients and visitors feel at home.
THE HEART HOSPITAL Baylor Plano 
- 70 beds, all in private suites similar to luxury hotel suites; each suite converts to an intensive care unit environment if needed
- Earned the Pathway to Excellence award from the American Nurses Credentialing Center, which recognizes the hospital's practices, policies and procedures that allow nurses to practice safe, quality patient care and pursue a higher level of professional development and career satisfaction.
- Awarded the Press Ganey's Summit Award for their patient satisfaction results. THHBP remained above 95th percentile for three consecutive years in each reporting area.
- Second busiest cardiothoracic surgery program in North Texas region
- Press Ganey patient satisfaction scores rank in top 1% nationwide
- New expansion planned to add 60 beds, one additional cardiac catheterization lab, electrophysiology (EP) lab and two operating rooms
Baylor Medical Center at Carrollton
- 237-bed acute care facility

- Received the 2007 Texas Healthcare Quality Improvement Award of Excellence from the Texas Medical Foundation Health Quality Institute, the Medicare Quality Improvement organization for Texas
