Date Awarded: April 9, 2007 Baylor All Saints Medical Center at Fort Worth received a 2007 VHA Leadership Award for Clinical Excellence in surgical infection prevention. Date Awarded: October 29, 2007 The Baylor Diabetes Education Center at Baylor All Saints Medical Center at Fort Worth received American Diabetes Association (ADA) Recognition for another 3 years. Baylor is one of the largest multisite programs in the country. ADA Recognition is necessary for DSMT (diabetes self-management training) reimbursement from Medicare.
Date Awarded: May 25, 2007 Baylor All Saints Medical Center at Fort Worth received a Texas Health Care Quality Improvement Award of Excellence from TMF Health Quality Institute (TMF), the Medicare quality improvement organization for Texas. The award recognizes hospitals that have improved their initial baseline performance on specific national quality measures related to acute myocardial infarction, heart failure, and pneumonia.
