Liver Cancer 

Chemotherapy and radiation therapy are traditional treatment methods for liver cancer.

Baylor Sammons Cancer Center also offers advanced treatment options including:

  • CyberKnife® Radiosurgery
  • TheraSphere® - glass beads infused with chemotherapy drugs injected directly into the vessels to help shrink the tumor
  • Chemoembolization - chemotherapy medicines injected directly into the tumor
  • Hepatic Artery Infusion Therapy - infusions used when multiple tumors are present in one lobe of the liver or the entire liver.
