Carcinoid Cancer of the Lung 

Carcinoid tumors of the lung are small, slow-growing tumors, often taking many years to become sizable or show symptoms. These tumors produce an excess of hormone-like substances such as serotonin which can cause symptoms known as carcinoid syndrome.
