Our Services

Pediatric specialists at Our Children's House at Grapevine evaluate and treat patients in a warm, comfortable environment designed especially for children.  

Our services include:

Specialized Treatment Programs

In addition to our standard services, we offer specialized programs specifically tailored to your child's unique needs:  

  • Aquatic therapy uses the resistive qualities of water to help children improve balance, strength and range of motion
  • Feeding therapy treats children with neurological and/or behavioral feeding disorders, including behavioral counseling
  • Handwriting therapy evaluates and treats children with handwriting disorders
  • Sensory/Defensiveness Integration
  • Modified Barium Swallow Studies

Our Staff

Sara D. Wilson, MS, CCC-SLP - Clinic Manager
Sara is a speech language pathologist with more than 13 years of experience. She has been managing Grapevine OCH for more than five years. Sara is a graduate of Texas Christian University with her Master of Science in communication disorders. During her years working as a speech pathologist, Sara has worked in various settings including inpatient, acute care and outpatient. For the past 13 years, she has been working solely with the pediatric population.

Physical Therapists

Suzan Gordy, PT, MSPT
earned her Master of Science in physical therapy from Texas Woman’s University and her bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of North Texas. She has experience in adult inpatient acute care, inpatient rehab, outpatient ortho, outpatient chiropractic clinic and nursing home settings.

Melanie Forbess, PT, DPT
Melanie has been a physical therapist with OCH Grapevine for more than five years. She received her doctorate degree in physical therapy from UT Southwestern. She is the lead physical therapist in OCH Grapevine’s NICU follow-up clinic. Her special interests include the NICU follow-up clinic and early intervention for developmental delay.

Sarah Poling, PT, DPT
Sarah Poling is an Ohio native, who received her doctorate degree from Ohio State University in 2010. She began her career as a traveling physical therapist and worked in a variety of settings. She is now happy to call OCH her home. Sarah’s special interests include pediatric orthopedic injuries, as well as torticollis.

Speech Therapists

Megan Beasley, MS
Megan received her master’s degree from Texas Woman’s University. Her areas of special interest are feeding/dysphagia and early language in pediatrics. Megan is the lead speech therapist in OCH Grapevine’s NICU follow-up clinic and is certified in NMES therapy for swallowing.

Kendra Vaughn, MS, CCC-SLP
Kendra has 15 years of experience in pediatrics. Kendra graduated with her bachelor's from Abilene Christian University and from the University of North Texas with her master's. Her passions in pediatric therapy include early language, autism and augmentative communication.

Janythe Cerda, MS, CCC-SLP
Janythe Cerda has more than 15 years of clinical experience in the field of speech pathology. Her interests include adolescent language, pragmatics and articulation. She is a graduate of Texas Woman's University where she earned her master's degree in speech pathology.

Amanda Kellar, MS, CCC-SLP
Amanda earned her master's degree in speech-language pathology from the University of North Texas. She has worked with the pediatric population since graduating. Her areas of interest include augmentative communication and feeding disorders. Amanda is NMES-certified for swallowing therapy.

Christan Morrison, MS, CCC-SLP
Christan obtained her master's in speech-language pathology from Texas Woman's University. She has a special interest in feeding and swallowing disorders, and expressive language disorders. Christan is certified in NMES therapy for swallowing.

Occupational Therapists

Chandra Gardner, OTR
Chandra holds a bachelor's degree from Texas Woman’s University. Her experience includes traumatic brain injury and acute care with adults, as well as outpatient therapy with pediatrics. She is certified in neurodevelopmental treatment and therapeutic listening. Chandra's special interests are in neurological disorders and sensory processing in pediatrics.

Christina Montminy, MOT
Christina earned her Master of Occupational Therapy degree from Texas Woman’s University and has a Bachelor of Science degree in child development. She is certified in Interactive Metronome treatment and has a passion for working with children with sensory processing disorders.

Elizabeth Janbaz, MA, OTR  
Elizabeth has extensive experience in the pediatric setting. She received her bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from Texas Tech University and her master's in occupational therapy from Texas Woman’s University. Liz is certified in Interactive Metronome and Therapeutic Listening. She is the lead occupational therapist on the OCH Grapevine outpatient feeding evaluations.

Jill McCullough, MOT  
Jill received her master's in occupational therapy from Texas Woman's University. She is devoted to working with kids in the pediatric setting with neurological disorders and sensory processing disorders.

Office Staff

Kristina Rodriguez, Therapy Technician 
Kristina has been with OCH for more than six years as a therapy technician. She graduated from the University of North Texas with a bachelor's degree in speech-language pathology/audiology and will graduate this May from UNT with her master's degree in communication disorders. Her special areas of interest include autism, articulation, and early language. Kristina loves working with the pediatric population, as it brings joy to each and every day!

Lillian Hynson, Administrative Assistant
Lillian has been a Baylor employee for more than five years. She graduated from Abilene Christian University with a Bachelor of Science in exercise science and is currently pursuing her master’s in kinesiology at Texas Woman’s University.  She is passionate about patient motivation and brings a fabulous charisma to the OCH team.
