Dana L. Walsh, PT MPT; Director of Rehabilitation ServicesDana joined OCH in October of 2004. She received her bachelor’s degree in community health from Texas A&M and her master’s degree in physical therapy from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston in 1999. She has background in pediatric inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation. She entered into management at the outpatient Grapevine site in 2004 and transitioned into her director role in November 2008. She lives in Grand Prairie, Texas, with her husband of 14 years and two darling little girls ages 5 and 6.
Nancy Behrndt, MS-CCC/SLP, MBA; Clinical Manager for Inpatient and Outpatient TherapyNancy joined OCH in February of 2009. She received her master’s degree in speech pathology from the University of North Texas in 1988 and Master of Business Administration from Texas Woman’s University in 2005. Her experience includes several years in pediatrics in the public schools, 17 years in adult rehabilitation management including; acute care, outpatient, skilled nursing, and free standing rehabilitation hospitals. Clinically, Nancy specializes in neuro rehab, dysphagia and language disorders. She lives in Coppell, Texas, with her husband of 20 years and two wonderful children ages 17 and 12.
Mary Fink, MS-CCC/SLP;Clinical Manager for Inpatient and Outpatient TherapyMary joined OCH in July of 2007. She received her master’s degree in speech pathology from Rush University in Chicago. Her experience includes 20 plus years in pediatrics, in acute care, NICU, rehab, outpatient and private practice settings. Mary specializes in feeding disorders and dysphagia management. She lives in Farmersville, Texas, with her husband and two children ages 17 and 21.
Patti Wren, MS, CCC/SLP; Supervisor for Inpatient and Outpatient TherapyPatti joined the Baylor Rehab team in August, 1993, and OCH in 1995. She received her master’s degree in speech language pathology from Texas Woman’s University in December 1991. Her experience includes four years in adult neuro rehabilitation and adult acute car, and 17 years in pediatric rehabilitation including TBI, SCI, neurooncology, CVA, dysphagia and feeding. Patti specializes in dysphagia and neuro rehab.
Diana has been working at Our Children’s House for seven years. She has had experience in a variety of settings including acute orthopedics, NICU, pediatric trauma, pediatric oncology and consultative work. She is a Board Certified Pediatric Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association and is NDT-certified. She also serves part-time coordinating continuing education for OCH therapists.
Beth joined the OCH-Dallas Team in August of 2010 as a full-time physical therapist. She received her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of South Florida and her Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science from Florida State University. Her experience is primarily in pediatrics. Her interests as a therapist include outpatient rehabilitation, orthopedics, aquatic therapy, durable medical equipment and orthotics and achieving developmental milestones.
Nikki Pham, PT, DPT: Physical TherapistNikki Pham, PT, DPT, joined the Dallas team in February 2012 as a full-time physical therapist. She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in 2010 from Texas Woman’s University and her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Austin College. Her experience includes pediatric rehabilitation. Her interests as a therapist include aquatic therapy, strengthening and endurance activities, as well as achieving developmental milestones.
Stefani Masten, MA, OTRStefani joined the Dallas team in July 2012 as a full time occupational therapist. She received her Masters of Occupational Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis. Stefani has seven years of experience with outpatient therapy. Her interests include neuro-developmental treatment, sensory integrative treatment, aquatic therapy and feeding/mealtime preparation.
Cyndi Fineski, MA, OTRCyndi joined the Dallas team in August of 2011 as a full-time occupational therapist. She received her master’s degree in occupational therapy in 2008 from the University of Southern California (USC). Her experience and passion lies in the area of pediatric practice. She is certified in the use of the Sensory Integration Praxis Test (SIPT) and is currently completing her NDT certificate coursework. Her interests as a therapist include utilizing a holistic approach which includes neuro-developmental treatment, sensory integrative treatment, feeding/mealtime participation, as well as family and child centered care.
Nick Crossland, MS, CCC-SLPNick joined the Dallas team in December of 2010 as a full-time speech-language pathologist. He received his master’s degree in communication disorders in 2003 from Northeastern State University. His experience includes two years in adult Skilled Nursing Rehabilitation, five years in the school setting and three years in pediatric outpatient rehabilitation. His interests as a therapist include autism, augmentative communication and TBI. He lives in the Dallas area with his wife of five years and their 2-year-old daughter.
Lauren Godby, MS, CCC-SLPLauren joined the Dallas team in June of 2009 as a full-time speech-language pathologist. She received her master’s degree in speech therapy in 2007 from the University of Texas at Dallas and her bachelor’s degree in communication disorders from Baylor University. Her experience includes a year and a half at Our Children’s House in Frisco and three years in pediatric rehabilitation at Our Children’s House in Dallas. Her interests as a therapist include autism, TBI and feeding disorders
Lily Rodriguez, MS, CCC-SLPLily joined the OCH family in August 2010. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from University of Puerto Rico and her master’s degree in speech language pathology and audiology in 2009 from Illinois State University. Her experience includes pediatric, adult rehabilitation and home health therapy. She is VitalStim certified and bilingual Spanish/English. Her interests include bilingual speech-language therapy, dysphagia and feeding disorders.
Kim Wizeman, MS, CCC-SLPKim joined the OCH Dallas team in October 2009. She received her master’s degree in speech pathology in 2003 and her bachelor’s degree with a double major in speech pathology and Spanish in 2001 from Stephen F. Austin State University. Her experience includes pediatric and adult outpatient therapy, adult neuro and acute rehabilitation, skilled nursing facilities and adult home health therapy. Her interests as a therapist include bilingual speech-language therapy, augmentative communication, dysphagia and feeding disorders. She lives in Dallas with her husband, Scott, and two children, Jacob and Leah, ages 12 and 9 years.
Carla Whiteside, MS, CCC-SLPCarla Whiteside joined the OCH family in September 2009. She received her bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and disorders from The University of Texas in Austin and her master’s degree in speech-language pathology from The University of North Texas. She holds the CCC in speech-language pathology and is VitalStim certified. Her interests include pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders. She joined the Day Patient Feeding team at OCH Dallas in November 2011.
Melissa Rios: Office Supervisor for Outpatient TherapyMelissa joined the Dallas OCH Team in January of 2013. She received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from DeVry University in 2011. She transferred from HTPN as an office supervisor. Her experience includes 11 years in a pediatric outpatient setting where she verified insurance, scheduled appointments, credentialed physicians and managed accounts receivable.
Bernadette Green: Office Coordinator Bernadette joined the OCH Dallas Team in October of 2008. She previously transferred from Baylor Business Office as a billing and collections coordinator, assisting 12-14 medical collectors, and has been with Baylor Health Care System for nine years.
Sarai Tamez: Administrative Assistant Sarai joined the OCH Team in July 2010. She started out in the call center in Dallas. Her experience includes scheduling, insurance and front office duties, as well as three and a half years as a pharmacy tech. She is currently pursuing a BSN degree.
Linda Salas: Administrative Assistant Linda joined the OCH Team in August of 2005. She transferred from in patient nursing department as a patient tech and now administrative assistant for the outpatient therapy.
Janelle Lafield: Administrative Assistant Janelle joined the Dallas team in July 2012 and has approximately seven years of experience in the medical field. Her experience includes being a medical staff coordinator credentialing physicians/AHP and working in HR. She took care of her mother for ten years and of all the hospitals, which were many, Baylor was absolutely the best! She has wanted to work at Baylor ever since!
