Breast Health Nurse Navigator 

Helping You Navigate the Journey Through Breast Cancer, One Step At a Time

Our Breast Health Nurse Navigator is a registered nurse, trained in breast cancer care, who guides and supports patients through the many challenges of breast cancer.

The goal of the Breast Health Nurse Navigator is to ease the burden on patients and their loved ones and to help coordinate the efforts of the medical team when needed.

In this role, the nurse navigator will provide assistance with the following:
  • Understanding your diagnosis and available treatment options
  • Voicing any questions or concerns with your doctors and other health care team members
  • Finding transportation to your appointments, if necessary
  • Understanding your medications
  • Exploring any work-related or financial concerns you may have and connect you to appropriate resources
  • Providing post-operative camisoles for drain management
  • Providing Reach to Recover visit and supplies
  • Providing educational materials
  • Providing support for the patient and loved ones throughtout diagnosis and treatment
