Four Steps to Individualized Care 

After evaluation, patients who meet the criteria for our comprehensive interdisciplinary program come to The Martin Center twice a week for six weeks and receive care across disciplines, including counseling and therapies.

Step 1: Initial Appointment

  • A patient or family member may call to make an initial appointment for patient evaluation. The Martin Center provides physician services by board-certified physicians on the medical staff at Baylor Fort Worth.

Step 2: Interdisciplinary Evaluation

  • Our onsite physician and interdisciplinary team fully assess the individual patient's care needs and treatment options.

Step 3: Feedback

  • Our team reviews an individualized treatment plan, designed to care for the whole person, with the patient and appropriate family members.

Step 4: Individualized Treatment

  • Treatment may include any of the strategies that help manage chronic pain management or emotional complications - such as depression, anger or anxiety - resulting from chronic pain.
