Neonatal Intensive Care Unit 

When tiny patients have trouble breathing, our respiratory care staff members are ready to help.  Not only do they attend all births to ensure that expert care is available if needed, but they are also present in the NICU at all times, working side-by-side with the nursing staff to provide 24-hour care.

Our department is able to meet any infant respiratory need - from diagnosis and treatment to airway management and ventilation - with equipment and care specially adapted to these fragile patients. 

Such treatment that we offer entails:

  • High Frequency Ventilation
  • Jet Ventilation
  • Nitricoxide
  • Surfactant Delivery
