Transplants Performed

Baylor is one of only a few hospitals in the nation whose surgeons and physicians have performed more than 8,000 transplants, including kidney, pancreas, heart and lung, making it one of the largest multi-specialty centers in the country. In 2007, Baylor performed it's more than 3,000th liver transplant-only the third program in the nation to reach this milestone.

Studies show that the more times a hospital performs a procedure, the better its success rate.
