Meet Our Team 

Baylor All Saints Medical Center lactation consultants have decades of combined experience. They can help you and your baby get off to a great start together.  For more information, please call 817.258.8232.  The Lactation Consultants are available for phone support seven days a week. 

Shawn Stevens, BSN, RN, IBCLC 

Shawn received her Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Woman’s University, magna cum laude. She has been a registered nurse since 1995 with experience in Women’s Services, including labor and delivery, postpartum, antepartum, newborn nursery, NICU, gynecology, and pediatrics. She is a board certified Lactation Consultant specializing in postpartum and NICU breastfeeding support. Shawn has worked at Baylor All Saints Medical Center since 2003. 

Carol Eblen, IBCLC, RLC, ICCE 

Carol has been a breastfeeding educator since 1986 and a board certified Lactation Consultant since 2007.  She coordinates the Parent Education and teaches a variety of classes for expectant parents at Baylor Fort Worth's Andrews Women’s Hospital where she has worked since 2006. Carol serves on the board of directors of the Mother’s Milk Bank of North Texas and is the mother of four breastfed children.

Jennifer Gerard, BSN, RNC, IBCLC 

Jennifer has been a Board Certified Lactation Consultant since 2007 and has worked at Baylor All Saints since 2004. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Tech University and is also nationally certified in Maternal Newborn Nursing. She has worked in all areas of Women’s Services including Labor and Delivery, Newborn Nursery, NICU and parent education. Jennifer has two daughters who were both breastfed.

Sherri Fossett, RN, IBCLC 

Sherri began her medical career at All Saints Hospital in 1983. She spent 22 years at another hospital and happily returned to Baylor All Saints Medical Center as a Lactation Consultant at the March 2008 opening of Andrews Women's Hospital. She graduated from Nursing School in 1984 and has a wide range of experience in Women's Health care from Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, Nursery and Prenatal Education to Surgery, Gynecology and, of course, Lactation Consulting. She has practiced as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant since 1994.

Janice Southern, RN, SCM, IBCLC  

Janice is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. She graduated from Fife College of Nursing in 1972 and Aberdeen University in 1973 as a State Certified Midwife of Scotland. She has worked with mothers and infants in Labor and delivery and as a La Leche League member. Janice has worked at Baylor since 2002. 

Enya McNamara, BSN, RN, IBCLC 

Enya has been in the maternal child health field since 1977. She has experience helping babies breastfeed from birth to over a year. Educating families in all aspects of childbirth, breastfeeding, and child care is another of  her specialties. Enya is married and has 2 children that she breastfed and 8 grandchildren that were breastfed.
