BIR Dallas - Central and Forest 

The skilled therapists at the Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation (BIR) Outpatient Services clinic in Dallas at Central Expressway and Forest Lane offer a variety of therapy services for patients suffering from physical conditions related to aging, gender, illness and injury.

Our goal is to provide the high quality treatment and compassionate service needed to improve quality of life.

Our Staff

Center Manager: Zachary Couch, PT, OCS, COMT, FAAOMPT
Zach received his undergraduate and master’s degree in physical therapy from the University of Evansville is acknowledged as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist by the American Physical Therapy Association and is certified in Manipulative Therapy. He is one of the few physical therapists in Texas trained in trigger point dry needling. He has lectured on dry needling and spinal manipulation at local hospitals and Texas Women’s University. 

Physical Therapist: Allison Lankford, PT, DPT
Allison received her B.S. in exercise science/pre-physical therapy from Abilene Christian University and her doctorate of physical therapy with an emphasis in manual therapy from University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. She is one of the few PTs in Texas trained in ASTYM, an advanced soft tissue mobilization technique. 

Physical Therapist: Christopher Rogers, DC, PT, ATC, OCS
Christopher received his degree in physical therapy from the University of Oklahoma. He became certified in athletic training in 1995, and completed a doctorate in chiropractic medicine in 2001. He has experience in acute care, wound care, hospital outpatient, inpatient neurological rehab, home health sports injury revention/rehabilitation, orthopedic rehabilitation.

Physical Therapist: Isaac Nabors, PT, MPT
Isaac received his undergraduate degree in Health Sciences from Texas Tech University, and an M.S. in physical therapy from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. He is pursuing manual therapy certifications, as well as a doctorate in physical therapy. His interests are manual therapy, orthopedics and sports medicine/performance. 

Physical Therapist: Michael Lucido, DPT, OCS, COMT, FAAOMPT
Michael has over 25 years of clinical experience. He has a B.S. in physical therapy and a transitional doctorate in physical therapy. He is certified in orthopedic physical therapy and completed a fellowship in manual/ manipulative physical therapy. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, North American Spine Society and the National Association of Spine Practitioners.
