Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation Garland - Shiloh 

The skilled therapists at the Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation (BIR) Outpatient Services clinic in Garland off Shiloh Road offer a variety of therapy services for patients suffering from physical conditions related to aging, gender, illness and injury.

Clinic Hours:

Monday - Thursday: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Friday: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. 
Saturday: 8 a.m. to noon

Our Staff

Physical Therapist: Sandy Frits, PT, DPT  
Sandy is an orthopedic certified specialist and a women’s health expert with experience treating pre/post partum pain, pelvic pain and pelvic floor dysfunction. She works musculoskeletal conditions that contribute to pain, weakness, posture disorders including osteoporosis and functional impairments. She is skilled in manual therapy, joint and soft tissue mobilization and other forms of myofascial release therapies.  

Physical Therapist: Sumayya Khan, PT, DPT
Sumayya received her bachelor's in psychology from Kean University in 2007 and her doctorate in physical therapy from Nova Southeastern University in 2011. She works with all types of orthopedic patients in the outpatient setting. Sumayya also has been trained to perform functional capacity evaluations and speaks several languages, including Urdu and Hindi.

Physical Therapist: Willie Uechi, DPT
Willie graduated with a BS in Exercise Science: Pre-Physical Therapy from Abilene Christian University in 2010, then went on to receive his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Hardin-Simmons University in 2012.  His clinical interests include orthopedics, sports rehab, and manual therapy, and he plans on pursuing a certification in functional manual therapy.
