Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation Grapevine - Lancaster 

For over a decade, Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation Outpatient Services clinic at Grapevine - Lancaster has provided quality therapy to patients suffering from a wide range of conditions due to injury, illness and age.

Our 12,000 square foot facility features a hand clinic, physical and occupational therapy gym, and two private physical therapy rooms as well as a pool. We have a wide range of standard therapy equipment such as weights and exercise machines, but we also have non-traditional equipment such as a Wii Fit. We also offer custom splinting and casting.

Our Staff

Center Manager: Brandie Owen, PT, OPA-C
Brandie holds a master’s in Physical Therapy from Texas Woman's University, as well as an Orthopedic Physician Assistant certification. She has practiced in various settings primarily treating orthopedic patients, and enjoys treating general orthopedic, orthopedic trauma and wound care patients. Brandie is a member of the national and state physical therapy associations and is currently working towards an MBA. 

Physical Therapist: David Wisdom, MSPT
David Wisdom holds an undergraduate from Stephen F. Austin State University and a master’s in physical therapy from Texas State University. He has been a physical therapist for seven years primarily working in the outpatient orthopedic setting, although he also enjoys working with wound care patients.

Occupational Therapist: Anna Ostronoff, OT
Anna graduated from McGill University and has worked as an Occupational Therapist for more than 20 years. She specializes in stroke rehab, working closely with BIR physical and speech therapists. She participates in the Stroke Support group and is Bioness H200 and Saebo certified.  

Occupational Therapist: Ed Rauschuber, OTR, CHT 
Ed holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Occupational Therapy, as well as certification in hand therapy. He gained experience in both the hospital and private practice setting before joining the Baylor Grapevine rehabilitation team in 1995.  

Speech Therapist: Lesley Dyess, M.S., CCC-SLP
Lesley has an undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders a master’s in Speech-Language Pathology. She has experience treating a wide variety of disorders, including aphasia, apraxia, cognitive impairment, voice, vocal cord dysfunction, chronic cough and dysphagia.  She has specialized training in dysphagia due to head and neck cancer and is certified in VitalStim and Lee Silverman Voice Treatment.
