Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation Mesquite - North Beltline 

The skilled therapists at the Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation Outpatient Services clinic at Mesquite - North Beltline offer therapy services for patients suffering from physical conditions related to aging, gender, illness and injury. Our spacious gym features a wide variety of fitness equipment.

We offer post-offer employment testing, as well as a work conditioning program that helps patients get out of treatment and back on the job.

Hours

Monday-Thursday: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Our Staff

Center Manager: Alexander Lao, PT
Alexander has more than 30 years of physical therapy experience. Prior to becoming director of BIR Mesquite - Beltline, he spent three years as the outpatient clinical coordinator at Baylor Medical Center at Garland.

 

Physical Therapist: Bryan Bitting, PT, DPT
Bryan received his bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University in kinesiology with an emphasis on motor behavior before earning his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Texas Medical Branch. He specializes in orthopedic rehabilitation of the spine and extremities, and regularly improves his skills through continuing education and manual therapy certifications.   

Physical Therapist: Michelle Steinhagen, DPT, OCS, MS, CSCS
Michelle received her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Creighton University in 1996. She is a board-certified specialist in orthopedics and a certified strength and conditioning specialist. In 2007, she completed a seven month spine mentorship program.  She also has training and practice in kinesiotaping and dry needling/intramuscular manual therapy. Michelle excels in orthopedic and extremity rehabilitation, as well as sports therapy, lumbar and SIJ/lower quadrant biomechanics.
