Baylor Senior Health Center at Carrollton

Baylor understands the special health care needs of seniors and offers a Senior Health Center. Conveniently located on the Baylor Medical Center at Carrollton campus, the center is designed to help seniors remain independent and to preserve their health in the years to come.

Our Services

The Baylor Senior Health Center at Carrollton provides medical care for older adults — from routine shots, flu vaccines and annual check-ups to comprehensive diagnostic services and treatment. The center is staffed by a geriatric medicine physician on the medical staff and is supported by health care professionals committed to improving seniors' health. These care providers are aware of the special needs of both senior patients and their families.

New patients receive a thorough assessment that includes a variety of tests for conditions that can affect us as we age including memory loss, osteoporosis, hypertension and incontinence. Many procedures are available onsite. The health care team includes dieticians, social workers and chaplains who can help seniors and their families understand and adapt to changing health needs.

Health Coverage

The Baylor Senior Health Center at Carrollton serves patients 55 and older with selected insurances and 65 and older with Medicare Parts A and B. The Baylor Senior Health Center at Carrollton is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
