Breast Health 

At Baylor Carrollton, the Center for Breast Health provides screening and diagnostic mammograms performed by licensed female technicians. We provide individualized care and expedient results by offering a personal consultation with a radiologist specializing in breast imaging during all diagnostic breast health services. 

Remember, early detection and prevention are keys to better health.  Please follow these guidelines:

  • Practice monthly self-breast exams. If you have any symptoms whatsoever, CALL YOUR PHYSICIAN IMMEDIATELY! 
  • Beginning at age 35, discuss routine screening plans with your physician for tests like mammograms and bone densitometry.
  • The American Cancer Society recommends annual screening beginning at age 40.
