Art for Asthma 2008

The 2008 Art for Asthma™ contest for students (1st – 12th grade) in Dallas and the surrounding communities was sponsored by the Baylor Martha Foster Lung Care Center. The 2009 poster calendars displayed the student winners art.

Art for Asthma™ 2011 

Thank you to everyone who participated in the 2010 Art for Asthma™ competition, and congratulations to this year's winners!  The Art for Asthma competition, gives students with asthma, (1st - 12th grade) the opportunity to express how they feel during an asthma attack or when their asthma is under control.

The 2011 competition will begin Aug 15, 2011 and the final day to turn in entries will be Oct 3. For more information click here.

Winning Competition 2010

The Martha Foster Lung Care Center received over 70 entries for the 2010 Art for Asthma™ competition. 1st, 2nd, 3rd place and Honorable Mention recipients were presented with prizes and a certificate of achievement. All participants, their families and their teachers were recognized at an award ceremony at the Dallas Museum of Art. To learn more about this year's winning entries, follow the links below.

Winning Competiton 2009

The children, their families, school nurses and art teachers all attended the ceremony. The 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Honorable Mention winning designs were awarded and these selections are displayed in the 2009 Art for Asthma calendar.
