For over 15 years, the Baylor Martha Foster Lung Care Center at Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas (Baylor Dallas) has hosted Camp Airways, a free one-day camp to teach kids how to monitor and manage their asthma. Five times a year, Baylor hosts Camp Airways to combine asthma education with kids' favorite activities. 

Camp Airways is promoted to the public and Dallas Independent School District nurses help identify potential camp participants. Campers receive their own free peak flow meter. Field trips, games, and other activities are also part of the day when the kids attend camp airways. The Camp schedule is posted on the BaylorHealth.com web calendar and to register for the camp call 1.800.4BAYLOR.
