Community

The Martha Foster Lung Care Center's community involvement has led to a close partnership with the Dallas Independent School District.

Opportunities include educational symposiums for school personnel; an award-winning asthma education video, WAIR, produced for instructors and nurses; along with screening and treatment initiatives within district elementary schools that have been published and presented in national forums. These exemplify the seriousness of Baylor's commitment to the community it serves.
