The Martha Foster Lung Care Center's community involvement has led to a close partnership with the Dallas Independent School District.

Opportunities include educational symposiums for school personnel; an award-winning asthma education video, WAIR, produced for instructors and nurses; along with screening and treatment initiatives within district elementary schools that have been published and presented in national forums.
