Interventional Radiology is the clinical specialty that uses various imaging devices such as CT, and ultrasound to guide percutaneous (through the skin) procedures such as performing biopsies, draining fluids, inserting catheters, or dilating or stenting narrowed ducts or vessels.
Biopsy - The process of removing tissue from living patients for diagnostic examination. These services are provided through physician referral. Please check with your physician for further information.
