Learn More About the Procedure
The Joint Wellness Program is designed to provide comprehensive care for patients who undergo joint replacement. Our patient-centered and compassionate approach can help you return to normal, active living.
Our program features a designated unit within the hospital that includes all private rooms. Your care is delivered by a dedicated staff specially trained in orthopaedics. A Joint Wellness coordinator will visit with you to assist in meeting your needs.
Some of the features that you may enjoy during your stay with us are listed below. Our goal is to make your stay a comfortable experience while working with you to get you back to an active lifestyle.
It’s a joint effort at Baylor and we appreciate the opportunity to assist you on your road to recovery.
Our goal for the Joint Wellness Program is to make your stay a comfortable experience while working with you to get back to an active lifestyle. During your stay, we will provide collaborative, patient centered and comprehensive care. We will also encourage you to be involved in your own care and identify a support person who will actively participate as your "coach" during your stay. We also encourage you to wear your own clothing, which helps eliminate the "inpatient" feeling and promotes a "wellness" concept.
