Meet Our Team 

Jill Johnson RN, IBCLC, LCCE

Jill is the manager of Simply Mom’s mother and baby boutique and Parent Education. She is a board certified lactation consultant as well as Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator. She coordinates all of Baylor’s Prepared Childbirth classes and outpatient lactation programs. She has been a nurse at Baylor for 10 years working in pediatrics, postpartum, and lactation services. Jill is the mother of four Baylor babies.

 

Kathy Chaney RN, IBCLC

Kathy is the manager of inpatient lactation. She coordinates all in-patient lactation programs at Baylor in the New Family Center and NICU. Kathy has been a nurse at Baylor for 14 years. Her experience is NICU nursing and breastfeeding support. Kathy is a mother of three boys and is currently working on her Master's Degree in Advance Nursing Leadership.

 

Tina Conner RN, IBCLC

Tina is a board certified lactation consultant. She has been at Baylor for 15 years. She specializes in NICU breastfeeding support.

 

 

 

 

Theresa Bello RN, IBCLC

 Theresa is a board certified lactation consultant with over 20 years of nursing experience. Theresa specializes in postpartum breastfeeding support and is also a breastfeeding instructor for Parent Education.

 

 

 

Lindsay Newland RN, IBCLC

Lindsay is a board certified lactation consultant and RN with a background in NICU nursing. Lindsay also serves as a childbirth educator.

 

 

 

 

Susan Peterson RN, IBCLC

Susan's nursing background consists of postpartum and newborn nursery. She has worked as a board certified lactation consultant for years and serves on several breastfeeding support counsels.

 

 

 

 

Melissa Espey, LCCE, CD (DONA)

Melissa has been a childbirth educator for five years. She is a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator and Breastfeeding Support Specialist. She is nationally certified through Dona International, as a birth Doula. She has been in practice for 8 years. Melissa is the mother of five children.

 

 

Christine Knefley LCCE, MS

Christine is master prepared in childlife development and is a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator. Christine is a mother of two and is currently working on her Dona certification. She currently teaches Prepared Childbirth, Baby Care Basics and Refresher classes for Baylor.

 

 

Billie Cassimatis LCCE, CD (DONA)

Billie is a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator and is nationally certified through DONA International, as a Doula. She is a mother of five children. She currently teaches Prepared Childbirth, Baby Care Basics and Breathing and Relaxation for Baylor.
