Library

Located in suite 200, the Deborah Leah Kielman-Rodriguez Patient Education Library is open to everyone at Baylor Sammons Cancer Center. 

The library houses books and educational materials, cancer medical guides, cookbooks, CD's and DVDs, as well as, computers with Internet access.  These items may be borrowed free of charge.

Whether you want to do some online research, read up on the latest innovative clinical trials, check your email or to simply decompress and play a game of solitaire, the library offers an area to work in peace and quite.

Healing Environment

  • Chapel - The Horner Family Chapel is a quiet, tranquil space that offers a place to worship, pray, meditate and seek comfort.
  • Family Relaxation Areas (in lobbies and on the Bridge of Hope sky bridge)
  • Meditation Room - located in the Collins Family Bridge of Hope sky bridge, there is a quiet corner for prayer, contemplation and a moments rest.
  • Healing Garden - located on Worth Street in front of the outpatient cancer center. It offers a natural setting and water wall that evoke positive feelings, reduce street and negative emotions.
  • Interfaith Garden of Prayer - located on Junius Street, next to Baylor Cancer Hospital. Offers a place of reflection and quiet with water features and a labyrinth to walk.
