Malignant Bone Tumors

The types of bone cancer considered primary, or starting in the bone, are very rare. The main types of primary bone cancers are called sarcomas, which start in the bone, muscle, fibrous tissue, blood vessels and fat and other tissues.

Malignant Soft Tissue Tumors

Malignant (cancerous) soft tissue tumors can develop in fat, muscle, nerves, fibrous tissues surrounding joints, blood vessels or deep skin tissue. They can develop in any part of the body but most often occur in the arms or legs. They are very rare and usually occur in adults between 30 and 60 years old.
