Breast Cancer

Almost 195,000 new cases of breast cancer are diagnosed each year, according to the American Cancer Society. Thanks to improved screening and treatment options, however, the death rate from this type of cancer has decreased significantly since 1990.

The W.H. and Peggy Smith Baylor Sammons Breast Center, part of the Baylor Charles A. Sammons Cancer Center, offers complete breast health services from education and early detection programs to the latest in treatment options and support.
