Vaginal Cancer

Cancer of the vagina is rare and usually occurs in women over 60. An infection of the human papillomavirus (HPV) may also increase your chances of developing vaginal cancer.

Although vaginal cancers are rare, cancers of other organs and skin cancers known as melanomas can develop in the vagina as well.

There are few noticeable symptoms of vaginal cancer, but if detected early it can be cured.
