The following diagnostic techniques are used to identify gynecologic cancers:
Cervical cancer is most often treated with chemotherapy and radiation therapy.
Ovarian cancer is usually treated with chemotherapy and radiation therapy.
Perineum (Vulva) cancer usually treated with chemotherapy and radiation therapy. Surgery may also be necessary.
Uterine (Endometrial) cancer is usually treated with chemotherapy and radiation therapy. A hysterectomy may also be necessary.
Vaginal cancer is usually treated with chemotherapy and radiation therapy. A hysterectomy may also be necessary.
