Acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL) is a rapidly growing cancer that starts in the bone marrow and spreads to the blood and other organs. It generally occurs in children 3 to 7 years of age, but also can occur in adults. Because it is acute or fast moving, receiving treatment quickly is important.
