Spirituality and Diabetes
Do you lack motivation for maintaining a healthy lifestyle? Do you frequently ask 'Why me, God?' No matter your religion, a spiritual lifestyle often can help in managing diabetes.
Celiac Disease and Diabetes
Daniel Polter, MD, will give a talk about the connection between diabetes and celiac disease, an inflammatory condition caused by eating foods containing gluten, such as wheat or barley, which damages the lining of the small intestines and leads to digestive complications. A registered dietitian also will be available to answer dietary questions.
A1C Champion Program
Hear from someone who has lived with diabetes for years with good control. Come and get inspired.
