Cardiac Care You Can Count On
Baylor Regional Medical Center at Grapevine offers advanced care, diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease, from non-invasive diagnostic techniques to emergency procedures.
Performing nearly 6,000 cardiovascular procedures each year, the specialized cardiology professionals at Baylor Grapevine have been recognized for their approach to rapid treatment of heart attacks and other cardiovascular emergencies. Recently recognized by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and the Fort Worth Star-Telegram for having the "best results for door-to-balloon times among Tarrant County hospitals," the specialized cardiology team ranks well below national and community averages. Door-to-balloon times average less than 45 minutes.
Dedicated Cardiovascular Unit
Baylor Grapevine recently opened a new comprehensive 16-bed Cardiovascular Unit for patients with heart and vascular conditions. This specialized unit is the first of its kind in Tarrant County and features the universal bed concept where patients stay in one room during their hospitalization with the appropriate level of care brought to them.
Chest Pain Accreditation
In 2008, Baylor Grapevine received full Cycle II chest pain accreditation with PCI from the Society of Chest Pain Centers. This recognition validates our commitment to provide quality cardiac care and to achieve excellence in cardiovascular outcomes for all patients. In Fall 2009, Baylor Grapevine will house a 16-bed cardiovascular nursing unit, featuring the universal bed care delivery model, where patients stay in one room during their hospitalization with the appropriate level of care brought to them.
