Hand Therapy 

Our hand therapy staff includes Occupational Therapists who have exceptional training and experience in providing rehabilitation for upper extremity / hand disorders.  We work with patients to deliver a continuum of care, often starting within days of the injury through recovery.

  • Comprehensive patient evaluation and individual treatment
  • Edema management, including Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) by Vodder certified therapist
  • Kinesiotaping
  • BTE Work Simulation System
  • Splint custom fabrication / fitting
  • Evidence based practice for evaluation and treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome
  • Post-operative splinting and treatment after tendon repair, fracture repair, or nerve repair
  • Work injury rehabilitation
  • Treatment of cumulative trauma disorders
  • Ergonomic education
  • Stress loading program for treatment of Complex Region Pain Syndrome
  • Functional re-training
  • Pain control
  • Wound management
  • Education / training in joint protection techniques

Appointments are made by calling 972.579.8155.  For referral, you will need a prescription for Occupational Therapy signed by your physician.

Hours of operation are generally 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.  Patients are seen by appointment.
