Can Students Volunteer?

Applications are accepted throughout the year for all volunteer positions.  Opportunities for college students are available on a semester basis. Opportunities for high school and junior high school students are available during the summer.

Eligible students must be at least 14-years-old by January 1 of the year they will volunteer. Students must also be available for a minimum of eight weeks during the summer. The deadline to apply is March 15. If an application is received after the deadline it will be held on the waiting list for the following summer.  Students must have volunteered during the summer program to be eligible for a school year placement.
