Colon Cancer

Colon cancer, sometimes called colorectal cancer, is the third most common cancer in men and women in the U.S. The lifetime risk of developing cancer in the colon or rectum is about 1 in 20.[i]

At Baylor Regional Medical Center at Plano you will find a highly skilled, experienced team of surgical oncologists on the medical staff to treat colon cancer. From diagnosis and treatment through recovery, our team is here for you every step of the way.

As a cancer program, our awards and accreditations truly set us apart – both in Collin County and in Texas. We have recently earned:

Only 25 percent of hospitals in the U.S. are CoC-certified, yet 75 percent of cancer patients seek their health care at these facilities. In other words, the majority of cancer patients choose programs like ours—programs with a firm commitment to offering every significant advantage in the battle against cancer.
