For conditions ranging from bone fractures to breast cancer, a look inside the body can help doctors make a quick and accurate diagnosis, so you can get back to being you. At Baylor Diagnostic Imaging Center at Craig Ranch, you can now have many imaging tests performed closer to where you live or work.
Our Diagnostic Imaging Center was the first in Texas and one of the first in the world to offer dual-head molecular breast imaging, an exam that can help find breast tumors smaller than 1 centimeter that might be missed with other screening tools. MBI is not meant to replace mammography but is ideal for dense breast tissue and patients with increased risk of breast cancer.
The technology also has a higher energy resolution, relating directly to the contrast on the image. Generally the higher the contrast on MBI images, the better quality images one will receive. MBI has the unique capability of replicating screening mammography images, making it much easier for a radiologist to compare mammograms to the MBI images.
The Diagnostic Imaging Center also offers:
Hours of operation are Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Tuesday and Thursaday 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Imaging services require a physicians' order. To schedule an appointment at the Baylor Diagnostic Imaging Center at Craig Ranch, please have your physician's office call 469.814.5500.
