Breast Cancer

New options for testing and screening
Dr. Lynn Canavan, a breast surgeon on staff at Baylor Regional Medical Center at Plano, appeared on WFAA’s Good Morning Texas to discuss some brand new options for genetic testing and screening for Breast Cancer.

Outpatient Facilities 

For your convenience, we offer Baylor imaging quality in the convenience of three outpatient settings. With same-day scheduling, and three locations, you can now have imaging tests performed closer to where you live or work. 

Women’s Imaging Center

Located in Medical Pavilion II on the Baylor Plano campus, our Women’s Imaging Center offers a full range of women’s services, including mammography, ultrasound and breast MRI. 

Service Hours

CT scan: 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. (Monday - Friday), 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Saturday - Sunday)
Interventional radiology: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Monday - Friday)
MRI: 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. (Monday - Friday)
Nuclear Medicine: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Monday - Friday)
Ultrasound: 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. (Monday - Friday), 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Saturday - Sunday)
X-ray: 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Monday - Friday)

Baylor Diagnostic Imaging Center at Craig Ranch

One of the first facilities in the world to offer molecular breast imaging, which can identify tumors smaller than 1 centimeter in size, our Craig Ranch outpatient facility offers a range of imaging services for men and women, including CT, MRI and bone density testing. 

Service Hours

CT scan: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Monday - Friday)
MRI: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Monday - Friday)
Nuclear Medicine: 8 a.m. to noon (Monday - Friday)
Ultrasound: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Monday - Friday)
X-ray: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Monday - Friday)

Baylor Regional Medical Center at Plano Elizabeth Jekot, M.D. Breast Imaging Center

Baylor Regional Medical Center at Plano recently acquired the Elizabeth Jekot, MD Breast Imaging Center located at 3301 Renner Road in Richardson. The facility will now be known as the Baylor Regional Medical Center at Plano Elizabeth Jekot, MD Breast Imaging Center.
