Digital Mammography

Mammograms are essential in finding breast cancer at its earliest, most treatable stage. Baylor Plano provides digital mammography, which has improved the detection of breast cancers. A digital mammogram usually takes less time than traditional film-based exams, and there’s less of a chance you’ll be called back to retake your images.

The mammography department is accredited and licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and certified by the Food and Drug Administration.

Call 1.800.4BAYLOR to register for our Saturday Mammography Screenings.

Ultrasound/Sonography

Technologically advanced equipment provides quality breast ultrasound, ultrasound-guided breast biopsy, abdomen, pelvis and other nonvascular and vascular Doppler studies.

Full Range of Breast Services

Baylor Plano offers a full range of breast services supported by a medical team, including a breast radiologist and breast surgeon, on the Baylor Plano medical staff, all on one campus.

Bone Mineral Density Test

As a woman, you’re at risk for osteoporosis, or thinning of the bones. A bone mineral density test can help your physician assess your bone health and detect osteoporosis at its earliest, most treatable, stage. Archiving capabilities allow radiologists to compare current exams with previous scans to help provide continuity of patient care.

Most imaging services require a physician’s order. To schedule an appointment at a Baylor Plano location, have your physician’s office call 469.814.5500.
