Technology That Helps Us Treat You

While our licensed therapists believe in the power of hands-on healing, they also have the benefit of advanced technology on their side to help treat you, including: 

  • Balance Master® Patients with vestibular disorders benefit from this interactive balance retraining tool that provides real-time feedback.
  • Biodex® Biodex isokinetic testing allows our therapists to measure muscle function and strength at different rates of exercise. The system also allows you to safely train and strengthen your joints and muscles by automatically adjusting resistance levels based on your physical input.
  • Mist Therapy®, a device that emits ultrasound waves through a gentle saline mist to help wounds heal by killing surface bacteria and breaking up dead tissue.
  • SwimEx®, our multi-depth rehab pool for aquatic therapy helps treat orthopaedic injuries, fibromyalgia, lymphedema, osteoarthritis and general deconditioning. You work one on one with a therapist and benefit from the weightless water environment, which allows you to exercise without putting tension on the joints.
  • VitalStim® This device applies electrical stimulation to strengthen muscles required for eating and drinking safely.
  • Wound V.A.C.® Therapy, a sponge-like foam placed into your wound to remove infectious material, remove fluids and help draw the wound edges together to facilitate healing.
