The SCOLISCORE Test is the first genetic test designed to help provide physicians and parents with insight into the possible progression of your child’s Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis (AIS), in hopes of reducing ambiguity and increasing physicians’ ability to personalize your child’s treatment plan.
To perform the SCOLISCORE Test, a member of the physician’s office team will take a saliva sample from your child, and then send the sample to a laboratory for analysis.
Physicians should receive results within two to three weeks.
Using your child’s DNA and current Cobb angle, the SCOLISCORE Test will allocate a number between 1 and 200 to the probability of curve progression. This information can be used by your physician to help create a personalized treatment plan for your child.
