Sleep Apnea

Is Sleep Apnea Keeping You From a Good Night's Sleep?

Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is one of the most common sleep problems.  It's a disorder where breathing is interrupted briefly during sleep, sometimes dozens or even hundreds of times each night.

Millions of Americans have trouble sleeping, and problems include more than just fatigue.  People with OSA have elevated blood pressure, which can put them at risk for heart disease, and twice the normal risk of stroke.  Plus, chronic fatigue and excessive daytime sleepiness can lead to auto accidents and possible deaths.

Fortunately, the condition is easily treated with a machine that uses a gentle stream of air to keep the airway open all night.  Once treated, you'll find yourself more rested.
