Dr. Nick NicholsonDr. Nick Nicholson, medical director of Baylor Plano’s Weight Loss Surgery Center, has been performing weight loss surgery for more than 10 years. He is board certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery and is a member of the American College of Surgeons. 

A native of Texas, Dr. Nicholson began undergraduate studies at UT Austin and pursued his M.D. at University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston before completing his residency at UT Southwestern at Parkland. Dr. Nicholson is active in several organizations, including the American Medical Association, Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscope Surgeons and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.
