Volunteer Requirements 

The purpose of the volunteer organization at Baylor Waxahachie is to promote and advance health care to patients and their families. We enthusiastically welcome individuals of all backgrounds and abilities who wish to volunteer and meet volunteer requirements.

Applicants will be asked to submit information and meet certain volunteer qualifications. Each Baylor location has its own requirements, so the volunteer process may be different at various facilities. Requirements may include a general health screening, background check (in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act), submission of personal references, and patient care training (if the nature of the volunteer service requires patient contact).
