Emergency Care 

Life is Unpredictable

You can rely on us to be close when you need us. At Baylor, in addition to our specialized medical departments and innovative services, we're equipped to handle an array of emergency situations for patients of all ages. With access to diagnostic testing and radiology on-site, Baylor Waxahachie treat's close to 45,000 patients each year in our Emergency Department. Our Emergency Department is staffed 24 hours a day seven days a week with board certified emergency medicine physicians on the medical staff at Baylor Waxahachie.

Minor Emergencies Happen

In order to accommodate our patients needs, the Emergency Department recently underwent an expansion that has allowed us to treat our patients faster and more efficiently. Part of our expansion was the opening of our Emergency Department Clinic. Due to the nature of emergency medicine, people with an ankle sprain can take back seat to a patient with chest pain. Our new Emergency Department Clinic allows our patients with minor emergencies such as sprains, cuts, flu or ear aches to receive care quickly too. In fact, we get most of our patients in and out within 75 minutes on average. The Emergency Department Clinic is just inside our main Emergency Department and features a private waiting area. The Emergency Department Clinic is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. - 1 a.m.
